What is HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy)?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment which enhances the body’s natural healing process by inhalation of 100% oxygen in a 10ft diameter walk-in chamber, where the atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. It is used for a wide variety of treatments usually as a part of an overall medical care plan.
Can someone stay with me during therapy?
To protect the privacy of other patients, family members may remain seated in a waiting room while you are undergoing treatment. A trained technician is always in the chamber during your session and can communicate with you at any time.

How long does HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) last per session?
On average, treatments last about two hours, which includes the time to pressurize and depressurize the chamber.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies. For wound care, the number of sessions required ranges from 10 – 40 sessions.
Is HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) uncomfortable or painful?
No. Most people are comfortable except new patients who are not used to the increased pressure. They may experience some earache. It is temporary as most patients learn to equalize the ear pressure after a few sessions.
Is HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) dangerous?
